Analysing a work of art

Painting: Starry Night - Vicent Van Gogh

Analysis: The Starry Night is a very famous Van Gogh painting. It represents the landscape of a village and the starry sky of a beautiful and peaceful night.
Van Gogh used hard, dark and mixed colours and the painting technique is " Oil and Canvas" and he used curve lines.
In this painting, the most important structure are the stars. A very important structure too is the moon, located in the right top. At the bottom we can see the small houses and behind the houses a church. Behind the village we can see the wood and the mountains.
